Alexandria, Va. - Alexandria City Councilman Canek Aguirre has been endorsed by U.S. Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) as he seeks another term on the Alexandria City Council.
Statement from Senator Mark Warner:
"Canek Aguirre has served our Alexandria community for more than a decade. As a member of the Alexandria City Council, Canek has worked to expand housing opportunities, improve access to health care and invest in education. I've also worked closely with Canek on transportation, where he has been a strong advocate for transit, rail, and modernizing our infrastructure.
